Nardostachys jatamansi, belongs to the family Valerianaceae and is found in the altitude of about 3000–5000 meters. Roots and rhizomes of the plant are used in medicinal preparations. Commonly known as jatamansi, it has calming, peacefulness and relaxation features. It is used as a nervine tonic and helps in enhancing the memory. Nardostachys jatamansi is a known calming herb in Ayurveda and Unani because of its medicinal values. A number of studies have been done for its efficacy in respect of nervous system. In ayurveda, it is prescribed against stress, spasm, epilepsy, convulsion and hysteria. The blue lily is a water-growing plant where it floats on the surface as its roots drive deep into the earth. The plant flowers during the day and closes up at night. The sacred flower has been associated with psychedelic effects and lucid dreaming, lending to its modern uses as a mind-altering drink. Blue lotus  may be an effective sleep aid thanks to the presence of compounds including nuciferine and aporphine. These compounds offer antispasmodic effects and a calming sensation that may help to induce more peaceful sleep. The antispasmodic effects may also help to alleviate gastrointestinal problems such as dyspepsia.

Lemongrass can help with a variety of common ailments, like anxiety, common colds, fever, inflammation, and insomnia. When taken orally, lemongrass is often used to calm stomach discomfort and other gastrointestinal issues including cramps and vomiting.1 When used medicinally, lemongrass may be taken by mouth, rubbed on the skin, or inhaled as an aromatherapy treatment. Applied to the skin, lemongrass or lemongrass oil is used to treat a headache and musculoskeletal pain.
